Delivery Location Set Up & Configuration

Learn how to configure a connector or service as an Asset Delivery Location in Creative Force.

Creative Force enables you to deliver finalized assets to multiple destinations directly from your Workflow. Delivery locations are configured at the Workspace level and can be selected within your Workflow's Asset Delivery Step to automatically route your approved images to the appropriate platform or storage solution.

Getting Started

The process to first set up a new asset delivery location starts with configuration in the Studio Settings. Before proceeding, make sure you have the proper permissions to make changes for your studio!

Enable Connector

Setting up a specific connector as an Asset Delivery Location requires first enabling the connector. You can verify the connector you are looking for is currently enabled by heading to Studio Settings → Connectors → & look for near the name.

For more information on Connectors, please see our dedicated article linked below.

Add New Delivery Option

To add a new Delivery Location, go to Studio Settings > Workspaces > ‘Edit’ Workspace > Delivery Options > Then, select ‘Add’

Delivery Locations are specific to the Workspace, Content Creation Type, and Asset Type. If multiple are needed, a separate location for each will need to be set.

For Example, if it's required to send assets to an FTP for 2 unique Workspaces, and those assets will be of both image/video and text type assets, a total of 4 delivery locations will need to be set up.

  1. FTP Workspace A: Image/Video

  2. FTP Workspace A: Text

  3. FTP Workspace B: Image/Video

  4. FTP Workspace B: Text

Configuration Options

  • This will change the available configuration options depending on the selection.

  • For details on connector-specific configuration options, see the next section.

Connector Specific

In addition to these general configuration options, certain connectors have a number of unique options available to better specify how you would like them to function.

Information on those configuration options can be found on the specific connector's overview page in its corresponding 'Delivery Location' section.

Test Connection

Before saving, you can test Creative Force’s connection to the delivery location via the ‘Test’ button near the bottom of the menu.

Test Failed

If your connection test fails, it means there is something incorrect with the current connection configuration. You can hover over the test icon to see more information on why the failure has occurred.

Test Successful

If your connection test is successful, Creative Force was able to connect to the delivery location as expected. Hit ‘Save’ to complete the setup for the delivery location.

Post-Setup

Once your Delivery Location has been successfully saved, you are ready to start adding it to your Productions. In the following sections, we will briefly cover those next steps.

Add to Workflows

Once your Delivery Location has been successfully saved, you will find it as an available option when adding Delivery Options to the Asset Delivery step of your Workflows.

For more information on Asset Delivery in Workflows, please see our dedicated article by visiting the link below.

Add to Style Guides

After adding to your Workflows, you’ll want to save those changes and update any associated Style Guides by adjusting the Delivery Matrix.

For more information on using the Delivery Matrix, see our related article by visiting the link below.

Apply Updates to In-Progress

Finally, if you would like those Delivery Locations to be available for productions that have already been imported into Creative Force, you will need to Apply Updates.
