Creative Force partnered up with Cloudinary to offer users an additional option to store the assets and also offer a way to manipulate image files. Connecting this with Creative Force, you will have the complete end-to-end content creation flow.

To enable this connector, go to Studio Settings → Integrations → Connectors. Click ‘Enable’ for Cloudinary.

Once you click ‘Enable’, you will see the set up box appear. Within Creative Force, you can use Cloudinary as an Asset delivery location and as a service to generate Auto-variants.

Connect Cloudinary

To connect Creative Force with your Cloudinary instance, you will need to fill out the Cloud name, API Key and API Secret.

This info can be found by logging in to your Cloudinary account, click 'Start configuring' in 'Configure your SDK’.

Cloudinary as Asset delivery

After connecting Cloudinary to Creative Force, you can use it as an Asset delivery location. More info on how to set it up can be found here.

Cloudinary as Auto-variant generating service

To use your own Cloudinary instance to generate auto-variants, you will need to check this box here and set up a maximum file size limit. In the below example, if your input and output files are bigger than 110 MB, the auto variants will not be created. Of course, depending on your Cloudinary plan, you can set up a different file size limit here. Please note that you will need to set up the preset in Creative Force accordingly to generate the auto variants.

If you don’t want to use your own Cloudinary instance to generate auto-variants, you can uncheck this box and use the default Creative Force instance for this service. This will happen in the backend and all you need to do is set up your preset. Please note that using Creative Force account to generate auto-variants will have a file size limit of 100MB.

Note:

  • Learn how to setup auto-variants in Creative Force here.

  • If you check the box ‘Use this connector for Auto variant’ and auto variants cannot be generated due to the file size limit, the system will not fall back to using CF’s own account.

  • If you check and then uncheck the box ‘Use this connector for Auto variant’ to use CF’s own account after Asset Delivery is Done, you will need to reset products back to Asset Delivery to generate auto-variants.
