Amazon S3 Connector

How to set up and use the Amazon S3 Connector in Creative Force.

Amazon S3 is a powerful cloud-based storage platform. With S3 and Creative Force connected, you are able to efficently import data and export assets for your productions at scale.


Enable Connector

The connector is automatically enabled when your Studio account is created.

Data Source

With the Amazon S3 Connector enabled, you can add connected files stored on Amazon S3 as importable data for your Productions.

πŸ—£οΈ Tip: Depending on your permissions and familiarity with the technology/interface, you may need to request assistance from your internal IT Team or S3 Account Manager to retrieve the necessary information.

Connection Option

Function

Region

Select the region for your S3 Bucket from the drop-down.

Bucket

Enter your S3 Bucket name.

File Key

Enter the File Key so that Creative Force can locate and access the necessary file.

Authentification Type

Select between:

  • Access Key

  • IAM Role

⚠️ Important: Depending on the authentication type selected, either Access Key or IAM Role, the configuration options will be different.

Server Encryption Type

Select between:

  • AWS KMS Encryption

  • AWS S3 Encryption

KMS ARN

If AWS KMS Encryption is selected for 'Server Encryption Type,' you will need to enter the KMS ARN.

Enter the ARN of the Role, which is created during the setup process of the bucket.

The pair key to CF so it can authenticate to your bucket.

Delivery Location

With the Amazon S3 Connector enabled, you can deliver finished assets to an Amazon S3 bucket of your choice.
