WebDAV, or Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning, is an extension of the HTTP/1.1 protocol that allows users to collaboratively edit, manage, and transfer files directly on a remote web server. It treats web servers as writable, mountable drives, making it ideal for remote file storage and document management.
