Printing samples in a defined order will be of great help for sample handling in the studio. You can maintain the order of the products you are going to shoot for the day exactly like what you have on your sheet. Other than that, you are also able to sort the printing order using different values.

Print sample labels can be found in multiple views within Gamma, go to Actions -> Print sample labels.

After clicking ‘Print Sample Labels’ and selecting the print configuration, you will see the printing dialog. Here you can select the value you would like to order the labels and sort them in ascending or descending order by clicking on the value header.

The printing order can also be set up in the Scan flow. From here you’ll be able to sort the labels using:

  • Product code

  • Product properties

  • Sample code

  • Sample properties

  • Check in date time (the display is based on the user’s time format)

If there is more than one sample associated with one product, this is the logic of the display order when you select the following value:

Product code

Product properties

Sample code

Sample properties

  1. Product Code

  2. Sample Code

  3. CF Sample Code

  1. Selected Product Property

  2. Product Code

  3. Sample Code

  4. CF Sample Code

  2. Product Code

  3. CF Sample Code

  2. Sample Code

  3. Product Code

  4. CF Sample Code
