How to uninstall/ reinstall HUE and Kelvin

Sometimes, if you are running into issues with uploading images in HUE and transferring images in Kelvin and the reset or reassign tasks does not help. Besides making sure that you are on the latest version of the app, a simple step to debugging yourself is to uninstall and reinstall the apps.

On Windows

Uninstall HUE & Kelvin

  1. Open ‘Control Panel’. To open this app, type ‘Control Panel’ in the search bar

  1. Select ‘Program’ -> ‘Uninstall a program’

2. Select HUE & Kelvin, and click ‘Uninstall’

3. Uninstall popup box will appear. Click ‘Next’

4. Click ‘Finish’ when the uninstallation is completed

Reinstall HUE & Kelvin

  1. Go to https://download.creativeforce.io/ to download the latest version of HUE & Kelvin

2. Open the download file and follow the instructions to install the application

3. When the installation is completed. Click ‘Finish’.

On Mac

Uninstall HUE & Kelvin

  1. Find the application in Finder. Most apps are in your Applications folder, which you can open by clicking Applications in the sidebar of any Finder window.

2. Drag the app to the Trash, or select the app and choose File > Move to Trash.

Reinstall HUE & Kelvin

  1. Go to https://download.creativeforce.io/ to download the latest version of HUE & Kelvin

  2. Follow the instructions in the installation. Then, you’ll be good to go!
