Happy Sprint Release Day! We're thrilled to bring you more new enhancements designed to improve your team's productivity.

This release includes asset validation in Photo Review, faster upload speeds and new markup options for Editorial in Kelvin, Copywriting improvements and more.

We're always eager to hear your thoughts, so don't hesitate to share your feedback. 🚀

Asset Validation in Photo Review

Color references and preset specs can now be checked during Photo Review! This is particularly helpful for assets being submitted through VPI or for assets that don’t need a post-production step.

Simply check Preset Validation and / or Color Reference Validation in the Asset Validation Options for the Photo Review step workflow settings; when assets in this workflow reach the Photo Review step you’ll see the relevant validation information.

Please note the GIF shows Workflow Engine V2; the options are also available in Workflow Engine V1.

Improved Editorial Uploads from Kelvin

Adding assets to Editorial projects from the Capture App (Kelvin) just got a bit faster! We made some improvements in how uploads are processed which reduce the upload processing times, improves the reliability of the upload process and makes the upload process more efficient.

New Editorial Markup Options in Kelvin

You can now add markups to assets added to projects or deliverables that don’t have a post-production step in their workflow. Previously assets would need to be added to a project or deliverable with a post-production step in order for you to add markups. This update makes it easier to provide details of assets regardless of when a post step is added to their workflow.

Copywriting Updates

We continue to improve the usability of the Copywriting module, and in this sprint we made additional improvements based on your feedback:

  • Faster Task Page Load Times: Navigating from the Kanban board to your task is now twice as fast. This speed boost means less waiting and staring at the dark, blank page - and more writing.

  • Clipboard Copy for Material Composition Settings: You can now easily copy values from the Material Composition Field settings with a single click. This helps streamline the process of aligning copywriting requirements with downstream workflows.

Scan Flows: Expanded Existing Production Alert Functionality

We've expanded the Existing Production alert functionality in Scan Flows to provide greater flexibility and control. This update includes:

  • Copywriting Step Integration: You can now configure Existing Production alerts to trigger based on the Copywriting and Copywriting QC steps.

  • Consistent Alert Behavior: The Existing Production alert is now available and functions consistently across Check-in, Check-out, and Change Location scan flow types. For Change Location, alerts will trigger when the product has not yet completed the configured step tasks.

These enhancements ensure more effective tracking and management of existing production assets, leading to improved workflow automation and visibility.
