Happy Sprint Release Day! We're thrilled to bring you some new enhancements designed to improve your team's productivity.
This release introduces AI for Copywriting and also includes smart workflow improvements like streamlined pre-selection in Editorial and new tracking capabilities for external post-production.
We're always eager to hear your thoughts, so don't hesitate to share your feedback. 🚀
Auto-Generated Copywriting with AI
Today we've released a new Copywriting Workflow Setting that enables content to be auto-generated into Copywriting tasks. This will allow Creative Force users to accelerate the copywriting process with the power of AI.
As soon as your AI settings are dialed in, the next step is to automate it!
This is where our new setting comes into play: By utilizing your pre-defined AI Prompts for each Copywriting Field in your Style Guide, content can be generated automatically for your writers to work with.
A secondary workflow setting called “Auto-Continue Copywriting Task” will route the Auto-Generated copy straight to your Quality Control step. This is useful in cases where you may want to shift from a writing-focused workflow to a review-focused workflow.
Rejections For Copywriting
In the Copywriting QC step, team members now have the ability to mark Copywriting Fields for rejection and add comments that will be sent back to the copywriter who submitted the work.
The Rejection feature for Copywriting includes an additional tab called “History” which is visible on the Task Panel when one or more Fields have been rejected. This History tab keeps track of all versions of the Task content that have been submitted for each Field, making it possible for you to compare the latest Field content to previous rejected versions.
Faster Pre-Selection in Editorial
Making pre-selects just got easier! Pre-Selection has always been started in the Deliverable slide-in, but users were required to open the full screen Pre-Selection page.
Now the Pre-Selection step can be completed directly in the slide-in without needing to navigate elsewhere, making it more efficient to work through a list of Deliverables.
Track External Post Progress for Editorial Deliverables
We’ve improved our users’ tracking capabilities by adding the following key columns to the Editorial Production screen:
Sent to Ext. Post
Expected from Ext. Post
Received from Ext. Post
Previously available only for E-Comm production types, these columns enable users to monitor the status of assets sent to and received from their External Post vendor. Additionally, users can now access a detailed view to review all expected return file information.
Improvement to Planning Calendar Slide-Ins
With the latest update, Production Tasks can now be managed more easily directly from the Planning Calendar. When you open a session from the calendar, you can click into any Production Task and make necessary adjustments without leaving the Session slide-in.
This shift from a read-only view to a fully interactive slide-in empowers users to create outfits, reset production, submit pre-selects, and more—all from within the Planning Calendar.
Other Improvements
Here are some additional updates released today for you to get excited about:
JPEG and TIF files added to E-Comm Style Guides and to Editorial Projects can now be previewed directly within our web application Gamma in addition to being downloaded or opened in a new browser tab.
New User Role permissions for Document access (view & download) have been added into Studio Settings. This allows studio admins to keep sensitive information segmented across user roles more effectively.
On the Jobs page, total percentage complete for Post Review tasks can now be tracked across a single Job, taking conditionally enabled and disabled Production Types into account.
