Happy Sprint Release Day! We're thrilled to bring you more new enhancements designed to improve your team's productivity. 🚀

This release includes Improved Set Location Visibility in Planning, Multiple Final Selection Steps in Editorial, Bulk Product Updates in Editorial, and Prefilling of Formatted Text in Copywriting.

We're always eager to hear your thoughts, so don't hesitate to share your feedback.

Improved Set Location Visibility in Planning

In this sprint we’ve released an update that improves the visibility and organization of Locations and Sets in the Planning module, making it easier for studios managing multiple locations to select and identify sets without confusion.

Key updates include:

  • Set Selection Dropdown: Sets are now grouped under their location for easier identification.

  • Session Card Layouts: Users can now display the set name, location name, or both together within the Session Card header.

  • Filters: Users can filter sets by location.

  • Swimlanes By Location: A new “By Location” swimlane view groups sessions accordingly.

  • Swimlanes By Set: When using swimlanes “By Set”, users can also show the location name within the UI. A new “Show Location” toggle allows users to display or hide location names in the UI.

Multiple Final Selection Steps in Editorial

Selecting assets for post-production can take multiple rounds, and this is now possible within the Editorial workflow! Simply add the number of Final Selection steps needed to your editorial workflow and get the feedback needed for your selection process.

Rounds of selection are particularly powerful when combined with Selection Collections, a new feature introduced two weeks ago which lets you engage anyone (not just Creative Force users) in your selection process.

Rounds of Selection and Selection Collections are available for all Editorial customers; for more info click the link below or ask your Customer Success Manager for a demo.

Bulk Product Updates in Editorial

Making bulk product updates in Editorial just became a lot easier! Simply download a copy of existing product data from a project, update the project details that need updating, and re-upload it.

This is particularly helpful for teams who don’t import product data from Ecom into Editorial and for teams without data source integrations.

Prefilling Of Formatted Text In Copywriting

Lastly, we’re also excited to introduce an improvement to the Text Area field type! You can now write and format multiple lines of text directly in the Field Settings, making it easier to create structured content that incorporates a combination of data Properties.

This means you can prefill text with line breaks, bullet points, and full blocks of text, ready to be inserted when a copywriter picks up the task.

Plus, if Text Formatting options are enabled, you can also add bold, italics, or links—saving your copywriters from manually reformatting standard texts.

A small change with a significant impact on efficiency.
