Bulk updating product properties in Editorial is being enhanced to eliminate the pitfalls of tedious, manual processes that force identical changes across an entire group. The new CSV-based update feature empowers users to quickly and accurately modify product details, thereby reducing errors and saving time.
To update product properties in Editorial, go to Editorial Project > Products tab.
Update the same property value across products
Select multiple products > Actions > Edit selected products. All the product properties will have the same value after updating with this option.
Update various property values across products
Go to Actions > Update from CSV. You don’t need to select the products.
2. Click Download Current Data. This option will download a CSV file of all the current product data in this project.
3. After downloading the file, you can edit the product properties how you want. However, please note the following:
Product ID column: cannot be edited, this is the identifier which Creative Force uses to specify the product
Reordered columns: values in the reordered column will be updated in Gamma if the column name is the same
Renamed column: contents in unmapped column will not be updated in Gamma
Removed column: existing values in Gamma for the removed column will be retained
New column: new columns will not be imported
4. Click ‘Upload’ to upload the edited file and the product properties will be updated accordingly.
