Using Sessions Favorite Control from Kelvin with Capture One will help you organize your shoots more efficiently, the folders can be named according to the preferred setup consistently.
Before enabling Session Favorite Control, you must connect Capture One with Kelvin. Click the Capture One icon and then ‘Connect’.
After allowing the connection to be integrated, you will see the following settings:

Note: Kelvin V5 supports Capture One 20+ and only works on Mac.
Capture One session
Your current active session in Capture One will be auto-populated in Kelvin. You can select other sessions within the drop-down menu.
Note:
The sessions that are in the same level folder as your current active session will be available here.
Kelvin will display up to ten sessions in the drop-down menu according to the latest modified date.
Session Favorite Control
When enabled, you can define how to name your Session Favorite Folders in Capture One. Either click on the setting wheel icon or go to Kelvin settings -> Capture One.
By default, the ‘Barcode’ token is selected, however, you can also select different tokens to name your session folder and set it as your Capture folder.
During the set, you can choose Kelvin or Capture One as the active application. You can scan barcodes from either Kelvin or Capture One, and the settings defined in Kelvin will be consistently applied.
After Session Favorite Control is enabled, you can move on to setting up the Next Capture Naming here.
