Connecting Kelvin and Capture One is just a single click away, you can read more about it here. However, there might be a chance that the connection does not work and the ‘Connect’ button is greyed out.

This article will guide you through some of the first troubleshooting steps.

First and foremost, make sure that both Apps, Capture One and Kelvin are open and are running on the same network and same machine.

Secondly, Kelvin will only search through these folders to locate Capture One to establish the connection:

  • /Users/4190099/Applications/

  • /Applications/

In order to establish the connection, Capture 1 needs to be moved to the above folders and once done you would need to restart your Kelvin App in order for us to trigger the connection again.

Thirdly, Kelvin will need access permission to other applications. You can find these settings by going to Apple menu > System Settings, click Privacy & Security and then choose Automation. Make sure to enable all the settings here.

If you still cannot connect to Capture Once after following the above steps, please do reach out to our support team via in-app chat or email at support@creativeforce.io.
