Looklet is a B2B tech platform that helps fashion e-commerce produce online product images faster and more affordably. The Looklet connector in Creative Force offers an alternative approach to our traditional Capture step in Kelvin.

Add On: Looklet is an add-on Connector. If you are interested in using it in your studio, please contact your CSM.

Once the connector is available in your account, head to Studio Settings > Connectors > Looklet, and enable the connector.

Production Types

After the initial configuration of Looklet, you will be ready to create and assign special Looklet Production Types for use in your Productions.

For more information on creating custom Production Types, see our related article on the subject by following the link below.

Assign to Productions

With your new Looklet Production Types created, go into a Style Guide of your choice and enable the Production Type.

🗣️ Tip: With Looklet Production Types, Final Selection must be performed in Gamma. Keep this in mind when assigning a Workflow.

Configure the required tabs as you would for any other production, and when a product triggers the type, it will act accordingly during the Capture step.

Looklet Flow

When using Looklet as a Capture Integration, your Photography step will show as three separate steps when viewing the Workflow in the Product Overview.

Looklet Capture

To use Looklet at the Capture step of your Production, first log in to Looklet Item Creator on your device.

Once in the Item Creator, input the Product or Sample Code to search for it.

🔓 Search Requirements: In order for the code to successfully be retrieved, the following conditions must be met:

  • The code must have a Looklet Production Type

  • The step [Looklet Capture] status must be To Do or In Progress

  • The Product must not have a ‘Wait for Sample’ status

Once it has been retrieved, capture images and upload. Once the upload has been completed, you will see the Looklet Capture step move to 'Done' status.

Looklet Processing

You will need to inform the Looklet team to approve the images. Once approved, the step ‘Looklet Processing’ within Gamma will move to 'Done' status.

Looklet Styling

To complete this step, you will first need to install the app ‘Look Creator.’ Once you have the app installed, and for subsequent sessions, log in using your credentials. Within the app, complete any necessary styling, then 'Export.'

After exporting, the output files will be uploaded to Creative Force as the output of the Photography step. Once exported, the sub-step Looklet Styling is done, and the Photography step will be complete, and the Production will move forward to the next Workflow Step as designated in the assigned Workflow.
