Production Types help to segment how Productions should be handled within your Style Guides and Workflows. In addition to the default Production Types, Creative Force also offers the ability to create Custom Production Types, fit to your studio's specific needs.

Default Production Types

Creative Force offers six default production types:

  • On Model

  • Mannequin

  • Flats

  • Overhead

  • Tabletop

  • Hanger

Custom Production Types

To create your production type, go to Studio Settings and select Production Types under Production Setup.

From here, you can see a list of production types that are in use. You can disable them by switching the toggle. In the 'Edit' menu for custom Production Type, you will also find the option to delete the Production Type.

πŸ“ Note: Production Types that are in use cannot be deleted, only deactivated.

To add a custom production type, click β€˜Add’.

In the creation menu, you will be required to name the new Production Type and select a Category Type for the Production.

Category Types

The Category Type for the Production determines Workflow options as well as what app and kanban views the tasks will filter through. The available types can be found in the table below.

βž• Add On: Please note that some Category Types require specific add-ons or Connectors to be enabled. For more information on those, please refer to their specific documentation or contact your CSM.
