Production Page

An overview of the Production Page, in Gamma, the web app of Creative Force.

Written by Viviana

In Creative Force, Productions are the individual work units assigned to Product Requests. Each Production is represented by a Production Type and related to a Style Guide that dictates how its assets should be shot. The Production Page in Creative Force acts as a central hub to review and interact with your studio's Productions throughout their workflows.

Article Overview

The Production Page in Creative Force acts as a central hub to review and interact with your studio's productions throughout their workflows. To access the Production Page, go to Productions along the top navigation bar → then, select Production.

The Production Page, by default, will display all productions currently active in your studio. Each Production displays as a row and shows data represented by columns. The Production page offers multiple ways to configure how information is shown to you, and filtering options to only show the most important data.

Disabled Production Types will not be displayed on the Production view.

Column Display

Along the top right, interact with the column icon to enable or disable columns for specific properties or change the order in which they appear– depending on the type of information you want to see.

Display Settings

Select the Display Settings Icon to control the thumbnail size for Display Images.

Freetext Search

Use the Freetext Search box to type in specific values and search for matching results. For more information on Freetext Search logic, see our article here.

Filter Search

The filter icon can be selected to browse and then apply filters related to various properties. Multiple properties can be applied at once for very specific searches.

When browsing properties, a list of values for that property will be shown for easy selection– this list only shows a set number of values before it stops. Begin typing to narrow down the list of suggestions.

Some property filters also allow the application of conditional language to the search. eg, 'contains' or 'does not contain' "X."

For properties like Product Code, you can also select an option to paste a list of values from a CSV. This allows you to easily apply large value sets to your search.

Saving Views

When you have applied specific column display settings and filters you want to easily come back to in the future, you can save them as custom views.

Product Request Panel

After applying any relevant filters and generating the desired results, you can browse the list of matching Productions and select them to bring up the Product Request Panel. This acts as an overview of information related to its Product Request.

For more information on the Product Request Panel and its available options, see our dedicated article on the subject here.

Status VS Step Status

A common point of confusion when reviewing data in both the Product Request Page and the Production Page is how the 'status' property displays information. There are two status entities, each related to a different 'layer' of the Product. Status and Current Step Status.

Property

Layer

Function

Status

Product Request

Shows the overall status of the Product Request. Once any Production related to a Product Request has started, the status will become In-Progress.

Current Step

Status

Production

Shows the status of the currently active Workflow Step related to the specific Production.

For more information on how Status appears differently in the Product Request Page and the Production Page, please see our dedicated article on the subject here.
