Supported File Types

Which file types are supported in and out of Creative Force

Creative Force supports various file types for the input and output of the system.

Input Files

The following image file types are supported for upload in Kelvin and the Vendor Portal.

Image-Type

.cr3

.crw

.nrw

.pdf

.eip

  • Not supported if your Workflow has Internal Post as the first step of the post-production process.

.tga

  • Ecom only, not currently supported for Editorial.

  • Does not support writing metadata.

  • No previews of alpha channels in QC or other screens.

  • Does not support receiving files from the vendor if the vendor type is FTP/Box and set to legacy mode.

  • Pixelz & Bright River do not support this format.

Video-Type

Uploading video files requires the Cloud Video extension to be added for your studio.

Editorial Project Documents

The following file types are supported for upload as part of the Editorial Project Documents, which requires the Editorial extension to be enabled for your studio.

Creating text-type productions requires the Copywriting extension to be added for your studio.
