Digital Processing is an add-on feature in Creative Force that helps you make image adjustments to raw files in Capture One before sending them to External Post. Want to explore this handy tool? Just reach out to your Customer Success Manager to know more!
Once the feature is enabled in your Creative Force instance, you'll find it available when setting up your Workflow.
Digital Processing can be performed once after the final selection or photo review.
Digital Processing Settings
Click on the Digital Processing step, and a settings panel will slide in from the right. Here's what you’ll configure:
When to process
Decide when Digital Processing should occur:
Always Process: Every selected image gets processed.
Case by Case: The on-set team must manually "trigger" Digital Processing for tasks in Kelvin.
Where to process
Next, set up where raw files will be converted into different formats:
Digital Processing:
The conversion happens during the Digital Processing step.
You’ll need Ink installed to use this option.
Expected outputs include: .JPG, .JPEG, .PSD, .PNG, .TIF, and .TIFF.
External Post Production:
Files are sent to your vendor for conversion and returned to you.
Note: If you choose this, skipping External Post won’t be an option.
Expected outputs include a broader range: .JPG, .JPEG, .PSD, .PNG, .TIF, .TIFF, .CR2, .CR3, .CRW, .NEF, .NRW, .EPS, .PDF, and .EIP.
