With Workflow V2 in Creative Force, you can streamline your text production process, giving copywriters everything they need to keep content cohesive, polished, and results-driven.

Workflow Creation & Setup

When creating a new Workflow, select 'Text' for the Workflow Type in the initial pop-up menu:

After entering the Workflow builder, you’ll have the following step types available:

Task Step

Required or Optional

Copywriting

Required

Copywriting QC

Optional

Asset Delivery

Required

Copywriting Task Step

The first step is the Copywriting task step; this is a mandatory step. Think of it as your 'Capture' step for text-based Productions.

After adding the Copywriting step, you will have the following options available to configure on the right-hand menu:

  • Allow Auto QA Override: This lets copywriters push tasks forward, even if some Style Guide requirements aren’t met.

  • Add Cloud Automation: You can associate connectors like Creative Force AI for AI Automated Copywriting.

Copywriting QC Step

This step is optional and can be added or removed based on the needs of your studio. The QC (Quality Control) step ensures your copy meets requirements and is approved (or rejected) before moving on to Asset Delivery.

There are two-step transition types available from QC:

  • Done: Since Asset Delivery is a required step, having this transition from QC is also required.

    • To set this up, add a step from the center point of the QC panel:

  • Rejected: QC Rejections are an optional transition step. This transition lets users send tasks back to the initial Copywriting step for revisions.

    • To set this up, drag a line from the side point of the QC step back to the side point of the subsequent step.

Note: Without a rejection transition, tasks can not be rejected and will always move to Asset Delivery after QC is completed.

Asset Delivery Step

Select a delivery location for your text assets. Not sure how to set up delivery locations? Check out the “Client Settings” section of the Copywriting Overview for detailed guidance.

Once you have added the relevant steps, save your Workflow and get ready to add it to a Style Guide with Text Production.
