Happy Sprint Release Day! We're thrilled to bring you new enhancements designed and built to improve your team's productivity. 🙌

This release includes a brand-new Adobe Premiere Pro integration, a brand-new copywriting field, contextual menu updates and more.

We're always eager to hear your thoughts, so don't hesitate to share your feedback using the contact information below. 🚀

Adobe Premiere Pro Integration for Video Editors

Today we are excited to bring automatic file handling and task management to video editors with our Adobe Premiere integration!

Say goodbye to importing source files, setting up sequences, hunting for color references and more. With Creative Force’s Premiere Pro integration, we handle all of the project setup for you, so you can simply click “open” and start editing.

But wait, that’s not all! You also get instructions from on-set and feedback on your edits (rejection reasons) right at your fingertips.

For all of our admins out there, this also means we now support all post production models for video category workunits. Choose a post production model that contains an internal post step in order to utilize the Premiere Pro integration.

New Copywriting Field: Material Composition

We’re also excited to introduce an update to the Copywriting Module in today’s release, designed to streamline the process of entering material compositions. This enhancement will allow copywriters to significantly reduce typing errors by using a new Material Composition field type.

Instead of manually entering materials, copywriters can now select from a list of predefined values, making the process faster and more accurate.

A common challenge we hear from customers is ensuring that the material composition percentages always add up to 100%. With the new Material Composition field, this is no longer a concern. The feature includes a built-in percentage check, ensuring your material inputs always total 100%.

Contextual Menu Updates

The menu that appears when right-clicking assets in the film strip or grid view is called the Contextual Menu which lets you perform actions on a group of assets. We’ve added Mark / Unmark for Instruction to this menu, making it easier for you to specify a group of assets that need instruction.

New Date-Related Merge Fields

We’ve added four new date merge fields – DayOfMonth[1], DayOfMonth[01], DayOfWeek[full], and DayOfWeek[short] – giving you more flexibility for file naming and organizing folder structures for Asset Delivery, External Post, and other places.

You can now use these fields alongside existing merge fields, allowing you to tailor asset organization to fit your specific needs and preferences. Simply select any of these from the fields that appear when setting up or editing merge fields, or type ‘day’ in the search box.

End of Support for Mac OS Versions Before 12

Starting November 5th, we will no longer support macOS versions below 12 (Monterey) for our photography app (Kelvin), Photoshop app (Hue), and our digital processing app (Ink). For more information on what operating systems we support please check out the link below.
