Happy Sprint Release Day! We're thrilled to bring you new enhancements designed and built to improve your team's productivity. 🙌

We're always eager to hear your thoughts, so don't hesitate to share your feedback using the contact information below.

Planning: New and Improved Talent & Crew Database

We’re excited to introduce a newly revamped Talent & Crew screen, designed to streamline how studios manage their talent and crew directly within Creative Force. This update enhances studios' ability to manage models, photographers, and crew, bringing all relevant information into one place.

This new Talent & Crew screen, located under Planning, offers the same robust filtering and visualization tools available elsewhere within Creative Force, now optimized for talent and crew management.

  • New User Properties: Allows studios to store information like pronouns, job titles, socials, and portfolios.

  • Agency Management: Talent and crew can be associated with one or more agencies. This includes storing agency contact information and the ability to manage multiple agents per agency in future updates.

  • Rate Management: Studios can track standard studio rates and custom rates for each crew member or model. Rates are hidden by default and accessible via role-based permissions to protect sensitive information.

In addition to this new table, you can also find Talent Profiles for each user by clicking on the “View” button within the Talent Slide-In, displaying all of the information and assets related to that user.

  • Asset Upload: Users can now upload assets directly to a Talent or Crew profile, providing a dedicated space for production-related items like casting photos and portfolio images.

  • Favorites: Right-click or star multiple assets to add them to a Talent’s Favorites gallery. These favorites are shared across all users with access to the profile.

  • Custom Asset Galleries: Teams can create custom galleries to organize and manage assets related to talent and crew. These galleries support collaboration and can be used to create contact sheets for review.

Optimized Experience and New Shortcuts in Editorial Selection Tasks

We’ve made several key updates to the Pre-Selection and Final Selection pages in Editorial to enhance usability.

This sprint, we optimized the primary viewing area in Film Strip mode, allowing selected assets to fill the entire display space. Additionally, you can now easily adjust the viewing area size by dragging the two lines that divide the sections.

Other improvements include:

  • Ability to select all assets using the CMD + A keyboard shortcut.

  • Displaying all selected assets in full screen (instead of just one).

  • Fixing the flickering issue when toggling between Film Strip and full screen views using the spacebar.

Expanded Flow Alerts Across All Scan Flows

We’ve expanded the functionality of scan flows with the introduction of flow alerts across all scan types. Whether scanning samples to add to containers or updating their locations, you can now apply flow alerts to streamline the entire process.

Key flow alerts include:

  • Already Checked In: Prevents duplicate check-ins.

  • Already Checked In (Different Size): Flags when a sample of a different size under the same product is already checked in.

  • Existing Production: Notifies if a product has already completed specified workflow steps.

  • Property Value: Notifies the user when defined property fields are populated.
