Airtable is a cloud-based platform for creating and sharing relational databases. Using Airtable with Creative Force allows an end-to-end experience for managing your product roadmap.

βž• Add On: Airtable is an add-on Connector. If you are interested in using it in your studio, please contact your CSM.

Enable Connector

Once the connector is available in your account, head to Studio Settings β†’ Connectors β†’ Airtable, and enable the connector.

Data Source

With the Airtable Connector enabled, you can use your PIM data as a Data Source for your Creative Force productions.

General Setup

For general information and a walkthrough on adding a new Data Source, first review our related article on Data Source Setup & Configuration.

The next sections will cover specific configuration options for Airtable that are not covered in the general article.

An access token will need to be provided for Creative Force to connect with Airtable. See notes

Configuration Notes

Access Token

For initial setup, please follow the support article from Airtable to create the Access token here.

When configuring an access token in Airtable, make sure that the token can access the data in the selected base and product table.

Scope

When creating a personal access token in Airtable for connection with Creative Force, you must set the scope to have the following permissions enabled:

  • Read data records

  • Read schema bases

  • Manage webhook

Base/Product Table Note

  • If you have more than one Base and Product table, you will need to set up a separate Data source for each of those.

  • Changing the Base and Product table for an existing Data Source setup will sync the new file/product table. As such, changes made on the previously selected Product Table are no longer relevant and will not reflect in Creative Force.

Supported Field Types

Creative Force does not currently support the following field types in Airtable, and values of these types will not be ingested:

  • Multiple Collaborator

  • Multiple Selects

  • Multiple Records

  • Multiple Attachments

  • Multiple Record Links

  • Single Collaborator

  • Created By

  • External Sync Source

  • Button
