Where to find Post QC

For quality control, head to the "Tasks" tab in the top menu and choose either “External Post QC” or “Internal Post QC.”

Utilizing Internal and External Post QC

The task that has a timeline tag on the thumbnail image will be your video task. Once there, you’ll see a Kanban board with three columns: "To Do," "Doing," and "Done." In "To Do," you’ll find tasks that haven’t been started yet. Click "Pick" to assign tasks to yourself.

Note: Only Account Owners and Admin users can release assigned tasks.

When you click "Start," you’ll move to the post-QC screen, and your tasks will shift to "Doing." As you complete each task, the next picked product will automatically load on the QC screen.

During QC, you can review, approve, or reject images with comments and markings sent back to the previous step as needed.

How to review

As usual, you can hit space to play the video and use arrow keys to move between frames.

To view reference images and videos, including color references (if available), click the eye icon on the left side. You can also toggle variants on and off by clicking Variants and selecting your preferred options.

Click here to learn about the QC tool box.

On the right side, you can see the info panel. There are three tabs here:

  • Post: View file information, auto QA, supporting files for the task and instructions from the previous step (if available).

  • Product: Access product data.

  • Styling: View outfit information (if available).

How to approve

To approve all videos in a suite, click the Continue button located in the top-right corner. This action will advance the videos to the next step in your workflow. The specific next step is also displayed directly below the Continue button for your reference.

How to reject

To reject a video, you can:

  1. Press ALT + R.

  2. Navigate to Actions > Mark all for rejection.

  3. Use the drop-down menu under the Continue button and select Reject, then click Continue.

Before proceeding, you'll have the option to include instructions or add markings for the post-production team. Hit ‘space’ on your keyboard to play the video. You can also watch the before-edited video side by side with the one you are QC-ing by clicking on History. From here, you will have the option to Linked Playback which means that the videos are played at the same time so you can check the difference side by side.

Whenever you click on the instruction section, the video will be stopped accordingly. You won’t have to fast-forward or rewind to find the exact moment you want to note down. After writing the notes, hit Ctrl/ Cmd + Enter to save your notes.

You can also search, filter and sort the comments. On the timeline bar, you can see where there are other comments or markups. You can navigate between comments by clicking on the timeline markers. And, by clicking on a comment, the player will also jump to the frame in the video that the comment was made on.
