Creative Force offers Art Directors, Photographers, and studio teams the ability to leave visual markup and text instructions when reviewing assets. In addition, standardized templates can be configured to align and track feedback efficently.

Marking for Instruction

You can find this interface while making instructions or rejections in Final Selection, Photo Review, Internal Post QC, and External Post QC.

To mark an asset for instruction, right-click the asset → & 'Mark for Instruction.'

After selecting 'Continue' or 'Reject', you will be brought into the interface.

Markup Interface

Leaving instructions or rejecting products, you will have the same interface. On the left, you can find all the tools to make your markings. You will also be able to see the images in high resolution and designate which notes to which marking by setting the colors.

🗣️ Tip: In Select mode, use Alt + Left-Click mouse to duplicate the marking. Or right-click on the markings to see more actions: Bring to front, Send to back, Duplicate, Delete, & Reset zoom.

Standardized Markup Templates

To improve efficiency in cases where users may need to type instructions or rejection reasons with repetitive content, Standardization templates can be set up for use across your studio.

These templates can be configured and edited in the Studio Settings for each Workspace.

Under Markup Templates, the following tabs will appear: Instructions, Rejections, Instruction Flags, and Rejection Flags.

Instruction & Rejection Templates

In the Instruction and Rejection tabs, you can create new templates by defining the following:

  • The text that will be generated as instructions when the template is selected.

  • Which Workflows steps the template should be available for.

  • Any Flags that should be associated with tasks the templates are selected for.

Instruction & Rejection Flags

Flags can be used internally for tracking and reporting purposes. In the Instruction and Rejection Flag tabs, you can create Flags to be used in templates by defining the following:

  • The name or identifier of the Flag.

  • Which Workflow steps the Flag should be available for.

Note: While Templates can be either disabled or deleted, Flags can not be deleted from the system due to how they might affect existing data.

If a Flag is disabled, it will still be visible to select/unselect in the Template editor, but the Flag will not be applied to template data as long as it is disabled.

Using Markup Templates

Users will find saved Instruction Templates and relevant Flags when in the Markup Interface.

Just select 'Saved Instructions' via the bookmark icon to access and select.

When typing text in the instruction box that matches text related to a template, an auto-complete will appear. Press the 'Enter' key to automatically complete the instruction text and add the related template.

User-Defined Templates

In addition to globally defined templates added in the Studio Settings, users can also save templates local to their user while in the Markup Interface.

After text has been entered or flags added, select the bookmark icon and hit 'Save' to create a user-only template to be used again in future sessions.
