This is a part of 'Creating outfits with Creative Force' articles. You can create outfits in Gamma, in Kelvin, and in Chroma.
In this article, I will describe the steps you need to take to create and edit an outfit in Kelvin. An outfit allows you to add additional, 'secondary' products to the primary product being shot - providing data to support 'shop the look' functionality.
Create outfits for a new production task
Identify the product you are about to shoot by entering the product or sample code. You can do this by scanning the barcode on the sample label or manually entering the code into the blue box on the right side of the Capture screen.
Click 'Confirm' to verify that the physical product to which you are about to shoot matches the product displayed in Kelvin.
Click on the 'Create Outfit' button.
'Confirm outfit' will open up and you will be able to add products to create your outfit, change the order of the secondary products, edit outfit properties..etc
Click 'confirm' to save all the edits. You can now continue with the shoot, select and upload process.
Create outfits for additional production tasks
There might be a case where you need to shoot a new suite of On Model photography or any other production types using a new outfit combination, without re-importing the product on a new job.
After On Model production is completed, you can scan the same product into Kelvin for On Model production and create a new outfit. 'No Production tasks' box will appear, then click the three-dots menu and select 'Create additional On Model outfits'. You will be able to scan in other products to create your outfit here.
Edit Outfit
It is also possible to add or remove secondary products in an outfit. Double-click on the outfit code and the 'confirm outfit' dialog will open again.
To replace or remove a product, click on the '...' of the product you wish to replace/ remove and select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu.
Please note, that you cannot remove or replace the 'Primary' product in an outfit.
