With Creative Force, it is possible to create asset delivery places to different DAMs or platforms. More to find here.

Before adding Shopify as a delivery option, you will need to enable the connector first.

To add a Shopify delivery option, go to Studio Settings, under Account Settings and select Workspace. Edit the Client you want to have Shopify delivery option.

Shopify Delivery Option Configuration

In the Edit client box, select Delivery Options. Click ‘Add’.

  • Name: Enter a recognizable name for the Shopify delivery location

  • Content creation type: Select either Ecom or Editorial

  • Method: Shopify

  • Store: Select your store from the drop-down list

  • Shopify Product Identify: Choose from predefined Shopify identifiers and map to a corresponding CF property for product matching. This will help CF to find the accordant product and map the delivered assets.

  • Swatch: When enabled, CF will deliver the swatch files to the variants in Shopify.

    • Variant Code Contains: Enter text to identify variants, this should be the CF preset variant code.

    • Shopify Swatch Field: Select from available Shopify URL fields (auto-populated). If a field is selected as a Shopify Swatch Field, it will not be available under the Metafieds.

    • Note:

      • Shopify supports only image swatch files.

      • If the Variant Code is not specified, CF will use the first image of the hero position (if enabled) or of the first position.

  • Metafields: Map Shopify properties to corresponding CF properties as needed. CF supports the following metafield types:

    • File_type_options

    • Metaobject

    • Mix reference

  • When File Exists: Select between Keep both or Replace existing files.

    • Keep both: Shopify will add GUID postfix for identical filenames

    • Replace existing files: CF replaces matching filenames. The delivered assets will be mapped to the most recent updated product in Shopify. CF will search products by Shopify product ID or SKU or barcode or filtered metafile.

Once that is done, you can see in the list if the connection is working or not, allowing you to verify that Creative Force has the correct access to the method you have chosen.
