With Creative Force, you can set up asset delivery to various servers. Detailed guides for each option are available in our Help Center.
Want to connect your Creative Force workflow to Orange Logic? Follow this easy-to-understand guide to set up the integration, step by step.
Step 1: Enable the Orange Logic Integration
First things first: make sure the Orange Logic integration is enabled. Click here for more information.
Step 2: Add Orange Logic as a Delivery Option
Navigate to Studio Settings.
Click on Clients and choose the client you want to edit.
Under Delivery Options, click the Add button.
Step 3: Configure the Delivery Details
Name: Choose something memorable, like the client’s Orange Logic account name.
Content Creation Type: Select either Ecomm or Editorial.
Asset Type: Pick Images & Video or Text.
Method: Select Orange Logic from the dropdown.
Now, you'll need details from your Orange Logic contact to complete these fields:
Orange Logic URL
Client ID
Client Secret
Step 4: Set Up Metadata Delivery
Creative Force integrates metadata into Orange Logic’s metadata. This is where magic happens: metadata like asset titles, tags, and meta properties information from Creative Force gets mapped directly into Orange Logic.
In Creative Force, you can specify which properties should transfer to the Asset Title, and Tags within Orange Logic. When an asset’s field is completed in Creative Force, the same information will automatically populate in Orange Logic upon delivery.
You can also map metadata between the two systems using the Meta Properties section. This allows you to link Creative Force properties to custom metaproperties defined in Orange Logic. Simply click Edit to access the mapping panel and decide how Creative Force properties align with Orange Logic fields.
Note:
If a property in Orange Logic is a "Select" metaproperty, it only accepts predefined values. This means the value in Creative Force must exactly match one of the allowed values in Orange Logic.
For example, if Orange Logic has a "Day of the Week" metaproperty with these options:
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
Friday
Only these values will be accepted. If "Saturday" is entered in Creative Force, it won’t transfer successfully to Orange Logic.
Step 5: Configure File Delivery
Once metadata mapping is complete, it’s time to define the folder structure for file delivery:
Folder pattern
Use ‘/’ and tokens to create a folder path for the main assets.
Variant folder
Use ‘/’ and tokens to create a folder path for the variant assets. Select one of the following options to deliver the variants:
In a folder using the preset variant code.
In a sub-folder inside the main folder.
In the same folder as the main assets.
Non-select folder pattern
Use ‘/’ and tokens to create a folder path for the non-select assets.
Letter case
The file path and name will maintain the case of the ingested data. Select between:
No Change
lowercase
UPPERCASE
When file exists
CF will first check the folder and then check the filename in that folder. If the same filename exists in different folders, it is considered different files.
Create a new asset: CF will always save a new asset in your Orange Logic instance. This option will overwrite the existing files based on folder path and then filename.
Make a new asset version: CF will scan the Orange Logic folder to check for existing assets by folder path and then filename.
If we receive one result, CF will save a new version of the existing asset.
If we receive multiple results, CF will create a new asset. (Overwrite existing files based on filename)
If we receive zero results, CF will create a new asset. (Overwrite existing files based on filename)
Once this is done, you can click 'Save'. Creative Force will be linked to Orange Logic, both in terms of asset delivery, and metadata!
If it says ‘Not Working’’, the connection has not been integrated. Please check the info you have filled in again, if everything looks good but it still doesn’t work, please contact our Support team for assistance.
