Creative Force's enhanced Asset Download Management feature improves how users interact with their digital assets by introducing flexible download options and simplified folder structures. By streamlining the asset download process, teams can work more efficiently with their content while saving valuable storage space and reducing download times.

Downloading Assets

Assets can be downloaded from various screens and menus in Creative Force, including via the Assets Hub, and directly within the Assets Tab of the Product Overview page of various screens.

After initiating the download, you will notice a pop-up menu asking you to confirm your desired download specifications.

Asset Download Details

Within the download prompt, there are two sections: Image Size and Folder Structure– each with its own configurable options.

Image Size

When downloading images, select between three different image sizes:

Image Size	Details
Small Preview	Shortest edge will be at least 650px. File type will be JPEG (images with a transparent background or alpha channels will have an automated background added.
Medium Preview	Largest edge maximum 3200px. File type will be JPEGs, unless the original image has a transparent background, in which case the download will be a PNG.
Origonal	Dimensions will be exact to the asset at completion. File type will be exact to the asset at completion.

Video Size

Select between three resolutions:

Small: 720p resolution for quick sharing and previews
Medium: 1080p resolution for standard quality needs
Original: Final video assets of the filtered step

Text Asset Format

Select between three different asset formats:

CSV: For spreadsheet and data analysis
JSON: For web and application integration
XML: For structured data exchange

Folder Structure

When downloading assets, you can choose between a Flat or Nested folder structure.

Structure Options

Folder Structure	Details
Flat	All assets will be downloaded and grouped within a singular folder. Easier for quick navigation or accessing images in a large batch.
Nested	Assets will be downloaded and organized into sub-folders, based on product codes, production types, etc.

Settings Memory: Your download preferences are cached at the Studio Level
Metadata: Asset metadata availability varies depending on the step where you download
Folder names may be automatically truncated to meet operating system requirements:
- Windows: 260 characters maximum path length (including filename)
- macOS: 1024 characters maximum path length (including filename)
When downloading the files, CF will use the first 16 characters of the product code as the folder name to avoid breaking the limit of the Operating System.
