Text production is a vital part of e-commerce workflows—after all, engaging copy is just as important as great visuals. With Workflow V2 in Creative Force, you can streamline your text production process, giving copywriters everything they need to keep content cohesive, polished, and results-driven. Let’s walk through how to set up a workflow for text assets.
When creating a new workflow you would want to choose the “Text” option:
Text workflows follow a simple structure. You’ll configure these steps in the following order:
Copywriting
Copywriting QC
Asset Delivery
Note:
Derived workflows are not supported for Copywriting tasks.
Copywriting step
At the copywriting step, you will have the following options:
Allow auto QA override: This lets copywriters push tasks forward, even if some style guide requirements aren’t met.
Add Cloud Automation: You can integrate tools like Dreem.ai for automated text generation. (Want to know more about Dreem.ai? Click here for details.)
Auto Continue: Creative Force will auto-continue tasks after auto-generated content is successfully executed. Please note that this action will follow the setting of 'Allow Auto QA Override'. For example, if 'Allow Auto QA Override' is disabled, a task will only be auto-continued in cases where all copywriting field requirements have been fulfilled. Alternatively, with "Allow Auto QA Override" enabled it is possible to have tasks Auto-Continue to the QC Step without fulfilling all task requirements. The latter might be useful in scenarios where the main product descriptions are auto-generated with AI but other Copywriting Fields are meant for the user doing the QC to do.
Copywriting QC step
The QC (Quality Control) step ensures your text is checked and approved (or rejected) before moving on. Here are your options:
Done: This is a required transition. You must follow up with a subsequent step labeled “Done.” Otherwise, Creative Force will display a warning and prevent you from saving the workflow.
Rejected: This optional feature lets users send tasks back to earlier steps for revisions. To set this up, connect a subsequent step back to the preceding one. Without a rejection setup, tasks can’t be rejected—so don't skip this if you want that flexibility!
Asset Delivery step
Select a delivery location for your text assets. Not sure how to set up delivery locations? Check out the “Client Settings” section of the Copywriting Overview for detailed guidance.
