Happy sprint release day! 🚀

This week we’re sharing news about upgraded scan flows, improvements to the Shot List in Kelvin, Editorial Progress Tracking, and a few other updates.

Create Your Own Scan Flows

We are excited to announce some improvements to the sample scan page, allowing you to customize scan flows and automate steps for greater efficiency and productivity.

You can now define and save your scan flows, adding, removing, and reordering steps like Review Data, Property Update, Print Sample Label, and Add to Container. If you only need a scan flow for Reviewing Data, you can now create one

Certain steps in the scanning process can now be executed automatically, such as Add to Container and Print Sample Label. You can toggle automatic execution on or off, with an eye icon indicating the execution status for each step.

Shot List Display Options in Kelvin

In this sprint release, we are introducing new display options in the Shot List in Kelvin. You will now have the ability to choose which information is displayed. This allows you to select tokens from a list of properties, such as Product Name and Color, to be shown instead of the default Barcode that used to be displayed.

Progress Tracking in Editorial

We’re making it easier to monitor the production process by adding detail on a deliverable’s workflow status in the Project Deliverable List. You can now see what workflow step a deliverable is in, and you can also see if the deliverable is on time or behind schedule. These details help you quickly review project status and identify any activities that might need a nudge.

Array Metadata Support for Improved Data Management

We’ve added support for array data types in metadata. If you are using a metadata data schema that supports array-type fields, such as IPTC Subject Codes, then this setting can improve the way data is written to your images.

To switch your metadata from a string to an array type, click on the new icon available in Edit Metadata. Please note that this setting is only available on standard metadata schemas

Improvements to Planning

We are also releasing some small quality-of-life improvements to our Planning module based on feedback from our users. Notably:

  • Select which columns are shown in the Session Production tab

  • Ability to “Select All” Products assigned on a Session

  • Show Sessions from all Production Types in Kelvin
