Chroma: Settings Tab

How to use the Settings Tab to configure your preferred experience in Chroma, Creative Force's mobile app.

Chroma is Creative Force's mobile application, focused on sample management and other functions leading up to the shooting process. From outfit building to complex scan flows, Chroma packs all the power of Creative Force right into the palm of your hand. In the Settings Tab, you can customize the appearance of the application and fine-tune its overall behavior to better suit your workflow.


Settings Tab

The Settings Tab for Chroma can be found by accessing the last tab on the bottom menu 'More,' represented by the ellipses icon.

The available settings that can be configured are subcategorized into separate sections: UI and Security.

UI Settings

In the UI Settings, you will find controls for how the app appears when navigating it.

Settings Option

Description

Start View

This controls the default screen that appears when logging into the app. The default start view is your Activity log, but you can choose between Activity, Scan, and Search.

Tabs

Reorder or enable/disable the tabs that appear when viewing the expanded menu for an item.

Quick Actions

Reorder or enable/disable the Quick Actions that appear when an item is shown as a result in scan/search.

Actions

Reorder or enable/disable the Actions that appear when viewing the expanded menu for an item.

Security Settings

These settings control the level of security with which the application should be handled.

Description

Lock on Exit

The app will be locked after exiting. You will then have to sign in again.

Auto Lock

The app will be locked automatically after a set time. You will then have to sign in again.

Pin Code

Set a unique pin code as a requirement to unlock the app.

Face ID

Toggle whether to allow Face ID to unlock the app for you.

🗣️ Tip: By default, the application will lock out frequently and require reauthentication. If you find this interrupts your workflow, consider adjusting the auto-lock.

Ask a Question

This opens our in-app support/chat tool. Tapping it launches the messenger so you can start a conversation directly with the Creative Force support team from inside the app.

Log Out

Immediately logs you out of the application, returns you to the sign-in screen, and requires you to log in fresh to re-enter.
