Happy Sprint Release Day! 🚀
This sprint’s release brings new features including Custom Cloud Automation Connectors, Collaborative Gallery Review in Editorial, new zoom options in Chroma, and rejection from Final Selection to Cloud Automation.
We're always eager to hear your thoughts, so don't hesitate to share your feedback.
Custom Cloud Automation Connectors
Cloud Automation workflow steps now support new Custom Connectors, letting studio admins register their own third-party or custom integrations directly in Creative Force. Each connector can hold multiple webhook-triggered sub-functions, configured in the connector area within Studio Settings.
This is useful for connecting Creative Force to third-party AI content generation services. Based on Final Selection executor settings in the Workflow, you control how returned assets enter Final Selection: staged as a Pre-Selection, mapped by position, or Cloud Automation used as the Final Selection step itself. Cloud Automation Connectors can be placed after Final Selection to support post-production AI services, in which case the assets expected back follow the presets configured in the Style Guide.
Rejection from Final Selection to Cloud Automation
You can now reject assets from Final Selection back to Cloud Automation without needing a Cloud Automation QC step in between. Rejected assets return to Cloud Automation in a state that supports regeneration through your configured connector. This removes the need to add a QC step purely to enable rejections, so AI-generated assets aren’t required to be inspected twice.
Collaborative Gallery Review in Editorial
Editorial Galleries can now serve as a shared pre-production review space, bringing internal teams and external stakeholders together to align on a confirmed set of assets before production begins. Project managers can invite external stakeholders directly from the Gallery — no Creative Force account required — and all feedback from every reviewer is consolidated in one view, attributed by name.
Once the team has aligned on a selection, Deliverables can be created directly from the Gallery by grouping all selected assets into a single Deliverable or generating one Deliverable per asset. Supporting enhancements to filtering, sorting, and asset-level feedback visibility make it easier to surface agreed selects and move work forward with confidence.
New Zoom Options in Chroma
We’ve added new zoom options in the Chroma app, enabling you to change these to ensure the appropriate zoom is being used when using camera-supported functions like Label Recognition or barcode scanning in Chroma. The zoom options available will be based on the device you use; full details are outlined in our Knowledge Base.
