Happy Sprint Release Day!
We're thrilled to bring you more new enhancements designed to improve your team's productivity. This release includes a major update to our desktop applications, a new Kling connector and Image to Video model, Deliverable and Property filters in Hue, a new Insights report and more!
We're always eager to hear your thoughts, so don't hesitate to share your feedback. 🚀
Major Desktop Applications Update
We’re releasing major desktop app upgrades: Kelvin 6.0, Hue 6.0, Luma 2.0, and Ink 3.0, delivering performance, stability, and security improvements.
As part of this update, macOS Ventura (13) is no longer supported. Supported versions now include macOS 14, 15, and 26 (Tahoe).
We’re also introducing a new partial update (hotfix) delivery model. Instead of requiring a full application download for every fix, certain updates can now be delivered to specific components in the background. This means faster resolution of isolated issues, no admin credentials required in many cases, minimal restarts, and less disruption to daily work.
Kling Connector & Kling 3 for Image to Video
Kling is now available as a connector, enabling you to use your account with Kling to create AI-generated videos with their powerful Image to Video models.
We’ve also launched Kling 3, Kling’s latest Image to Video model. It accepts multiple images enabling you to represent products more accurately in 360º videos and to create multi-shot videos instead of videos with one continuous view.
Kling 3 can be tested for free in the Image to Video tester accessed from the Kling and Creative Force AI connectors.
Deliverable & Project Property Filters in Hue
We’ve enhanced task filtering in the Hue desktop application with two new options: Deliverable Properties and Project Properties. These filters give you more control when working on Editorial projects, allowing you to locate tasks based on specific properties.
Metadata Handling for RDF Bag Structures
We’ve enhanced metadata handling by adding support for unordered RDF bag structures in custom XMP namespaces. This allows you to define whether metadata values are delivered as strings or arrays, bringing the same flexibility previously available only in selected standard schemas to your custom setups.
With this improvement, teams can better tailor metadata outputs to their specific integration needs, ensuring greater consistency and compatibility across systems.
Failed Copywriting Status for AI Generation
Copywriting AI tasks that fail due to empty prompt properties now show a Failed status in the Production and Kanban views, consistent with existing failed step indicators. A new filter lets production teams quickly identify affected tasks without waiting for client escalations.
The product event log now displays a specific error message identifying which fields and properties need to be updated. After fixing the data, users can reset the task to the Copywriting step individually or in bulk to automatically re-trigger AI generation.
New Insights Report: Markup Template Overview
Managing Markup Templates across multiple Workspaces can quickly become difficult to track. The new Markup Template Overview gives you a clear, centralized view of how your templates are configured, making it easy to verify setups and catch potential misconfigurations before they cause issues.
This report can be found in Insights under Data Reports > System > Markup Template Overview.
