Happy Sprint Release Day! 🚀
We're happy to introduce a new batch of updates focused on improving efficiency and making your workflows smoother. In this release we are highlighting Mobile App updates and improvements to the Print Sample Label step in Scanning Flows.
As always, we welcome your feedback - it plays a key role in helping us continue to improve.
Print Sample Label Settings Within the Scanning Flow Step
We’ve enhanced the Print Sample Label step in Scanning Flows with new configuration options, giving you more control over how labels are printed. You can now choose whether to print a single label per sample or multiple labels per product, directly within the scanning flow, without needing to switch to the Actions menu.
The default behavior has also been updated to print one label per sample, reducing unnecessary label printing.
Tap to Focus in Mobile App
It’s now easier to take photos for barcode scanning and Label Recognition in the Chroma mobile app! When you are in capture mode you can now use tap to focus on a specific item, similar to how this works in native camera experiences.

Update to Default Camera Lens in Mobile App
We’re changing the default camera lens in the Chroma mobile app for iPhones 15 and above from the main lens to the ultra-wide lens. This will make it easier to scan barcodes or take photos for Label Recognition easier by using a lens that can focus at closer ranges.
