Happy Sprint Release Day!
We're thrilled to bring you more new enhancements designed to improve your team's productivity. This release includes Cloud Video in Editorial, new AI Product Tagging features, and updates to Sample Pooling and Workflow Step Status in Editorial.
We're always eager to hear your thoughts, so don't hesitate to share your feedback. 🚀
Video in Editorial
We’re pleased to announce that Cloud Video is now available in Editorial! This exciting new feature enables customers to create video content using the unique setup, flexible workflows and collaboration features of the Editorial module.
Once the Cloud Video add-on is enabled on an account with Editorial you can specify if a Deliverable is for Image or Video when creating it.
Once you’ve created a Video Deliverable, you can add videos the same way you add images: from Project Images, Pre-Selection and Final Selection.
One of the great things about Video in Creative Force is adding instructions at specific timestamps in the video; this can be done in Pre-Selection and Final Selection markup, and is shown to editors in Post Production steps.
If you have an Internal Post step for your Video Deliverable, use the Luma App to open the Video Deliverable task in Premiere Pro for editing. Markup instructions, Creative Brief and Preset details will all be visible in the Luma panel in Premiere Pro.
Please note that Cloud Video is a paid add-on. To learn more or to add it to your account please contact your Customer Success Manager.
Bulk AI Product Tagging
You can now use AI Product Tagging to tag products in bulk outside of workflows! This is helpful for products that have completed workflows prior to Product Tagging being added to your account.
To use Bulk Tagging, select the products you’d like to tag from the Product List, select Product Tagging from the Actions dropdown, and select which attribute schema you’d like to use.
New AI Product Tagging Setup
You can now choose which product property will identify which Attribute Schema will tag a product. Attribute Schemas contain rules about what details need to be tagged for a specific product (i.e. color, sleeve length, hem line, etc), and previously only the Category property could be used.
To choose which product property to use, select the desired property in Workspaces > Product Tagging. Next, specify which values of the property should trigger an Attribute Schema in Attribute Schemas.
Editorial Workflow Step Identification Enhancements
We've improved Editorial workflows by adding visual indicators and filtering for multiple Final Selection and Post Production steps, making it easier for teams to distinguish between different rounds and levels. These improvements provide clear visibility for complex Editorial workflows with multiple stakeholders.
Key Updates:
Round Badges: Multiple Final Selection steps now display round numbers (R1, R2, R3) in workflows and Kanban tasks
Level Badges: Multiple Post Production steps show level indicators (L1, L2, L3) similar to Ecomm workflows
Enhanced Filtering: Added 'Rounds of Selection' filters (similar to 'Rounds of Review') and Step level filtering (L1, L2, L3) across Final Selection Kanban boards and Final Selection Collection screens
Sample Pooling Updates in Editorial
We’ve added an additional control to let you choose if you’d like to pool samples between Ecommerce and Editorial. This is particularly helpful for studios that use different samples for Ecommerce and Editorial, or that don’t want to have Ecommerce samples added to Editorial projects. Sample Pooling can be enabled or disabled in Workspaces > Sample Settings.
