The Reuse Images feature in Editorial allows you to efficiently reuse assets that already exist in Creative Force, whether from Projects or specific Deliverables, eliminating the need to re-upload images from your machine or capture new ones for relevant productions.

Requirements

  • You must have the Art Director skill and appropriate permissions to access this feature

  • The "Reuse Images" add-on must be enabled for your studio

Where to Find Reuse Images

The menu for Reuse Images can be accessed wherever assets can be uploaded when working on an Editorial Production: Project Images, Pre-Selection, Final Selection, and Deliverable setup.

Key Features

  • Filters: Located at the top, allowing you to filter by:

    • Step (defaults to Asset Delivery)

    • Container

    • Star Rating

    • Advanced options

  • Saved Views: Create and access personalized views with your preferred filters

    • Default view is "Delivered Assets"

    • Views are accessible across all studio projects

Selecting and Adding Assets

  1. Browse through available assets

  2. Select the desired images by checking them

  3. Select either "Add to Project Images" or "Add Images"

Notes on Asset Handling

When adding existing assets to an Editorial Project or Deliverable:

  • File Names: The original file name will be preserved with a "copy" or "copy [#]" post-fixed.

  • Star Ratings: Maintained from the original asset

  • Metadata: Carried over from the original asset

  • Crop Information: Preserved from the original asset

  • Team on Set information: Transferred from the original asset
