Bria Connector

How to set up and use the Bria Connector in Creative Force.

The Bria connector in Creative Force is an AI-powered image enhancement tool that enables background removal, background blur, increasing resolution, and image to PSD. This connector streamlines image processing workflows by leveraging AI technology to automate common image enhancement tasks within the Creative Force platform.

Add On: Bria is an add-on that integrates with Workflow Engine V2. If you are interested in using it in your studio, please contact your CSM.



Getting Started

Enable Connector

Step 1:

Once the connector is available in your account, head to Studio Settings > Connectors > Bria and enable the connector.

Step 2:

Fill in the API key of your Bria account and click 'Save.' For more information on obtaining your API key, please see the external guide found here.

Cloud Automation

Bria supports Cloud Automation in Workflow V2, and offers a variety of unique sub-functions, including: Blue Background, Remove Background, Image to PSD, Expand Canvas, and Increase Resolution.

Sub-Function

Description

Blur Background

Use AI automation to create a blur effect on the background of an image.

Remove Background

Use AI Automation to easily remove backgrounds from images.

Image to PSD

Transform assets of any type to a layered PSD format.

Expand Canvas

Choose how much you'd like to expand the image or extend the canvas.

Increase Resolution

Increase the resolution of any image using AI automated upscaling techniques.

Image to PSD

Select the Image to PSD tab and enable the feature. There are no options for this subfunction.

Remove Background

Select the Remove Background tab and enable the feature. You can choose if you’d like to preserve the alpha layer.

Blur Background

Select the Blur Background tab and enable the feature. Select the Blur Canvas tab and enable the feature. You can choose the canvas size and original image placement to preserve the alpha layer.

Increase Resolution

Select the Increase Resolution tab and enable the feature. Options available include how much you’d like to increase the resolution and if the alpha layer should be preserved.

Expand Canvas

Select the 'Expand Canvas' tab and enable the feature. You can control the automation prompt by configuring the various settings in this menu.

Function

Canvas Size

Set the desired dimensions of the new canvas. Choose to set by the Width & Length in pixels.

Original Image Size

Set the desired dimensions of the existing image in the new canvas.

Select between:

  • Lock Aspect Ratio

  • Lock Aspect Ratio - New Width

  • Lock Aspect Ratio - New Height

Depending on your selection, the Width and/or Height will become available to set in pixels.

Original Image Placement

Set the desired placement of the existing image in the new canvas.

Select one option from the dropdown:

View Options

  • Top Left

  • Top Middle

  • Top Right

  • Center Left

  • Center

  • Center Right

  • Bottom Left

  • Bottom Middle

  • Bottom Right

Prompt

Describe the desired canvas extension, like 'expand the backdrop behind the product to create negative space'. This guides the AI in generating the extended canvas.

Negative Prompt

Describe what to avoid in the canvas , like 'don't add new objects or patterns'.

Preserve Alpha

Preserve the alpha layer from the source asset to the output image.

  • Toggle On/Off

Allow Runtime Override

For each setting in the respective subfunction menu, you can decide if they can be adjusted during Workflows by toggling 'Allow Runtime Override.'

Having this disabled means that when used in Productions, the settings will always exactly match the configuration set in this menu.

Add to Workflows

To use Bria in your Productions, add a Cloud Automation step to your Workflow V2 and select 'Bria'. Then, select the subfunction you’d like added to be executed at this step.

🗣️ Tip: Since all Bria subfunctions return PNG files, if another file type is needed, add the File Conversion subfunction after the last Bria subfunction and specify a desired file type.

Testers

You can try any of the Bria subfunctions by clicking the ‘Try It’ button.

📝 Note: Using the tester is available to all Creative Force customers at no charge and does not require you to add account details like an API key for use.

🛠️ Permissions: To use the tester, users need to be in a Role with 'View' or 'Edit' permissions for 'Connectors.'

Terms of Service

Using Testers:

  • Testers are available for all subfunctions and free to use

  • Access testers in Studio Settings > Connectors > Bria without needing a Bria account

  • Testing functionality falls under Creative Force's Terms of Service

Using in Production Workflows:

  • Production use requires Workflow Engine V2

  • Requires an account with Bria

  • Falls under the Terms & Conditions you agreed to when creating your account with Bria

  • Review Bria's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before using in production

📝 Note: In H1 2026, a digital opt-in will be implemented before testers can be used, confirming acceptance of Creative Force's Terms of Service for testing purposes.
