This guide walks you through asset management in Style Guide V2—covering Presets, Naming, and Delivery options.

Finding Style Guide V2

You’ll find Style Guides V2 in the Production tab. Want to tweak a Style Guide? Hover over the one you want, then click “Edit.”

Once inside, you can dive into the Production Type you want by clicking its name in bright orange at the top.

Tabs, Tabs, Tabs

In the Production Type view, you’ll notice tabs like Capture, External Post, Presets & Naming, Delivery, and Properties. These keep everything neat and easy to find.

Presets & Naming: Customize Your Assets

Under the Presets & Naming tab, you’ll see photography positions set up in the Capture tab. For each one, you can adjust the naming rules or assign a Preset.

  • By default, there’s no Preset assigned (a clean slate!).

  • To add one, click the drop-down menu next to a position. You’ll see all the Presets you’ve created for this client.

    • To create a new Preset, click the plus icon.

  • Once assigned, fields for the main variant and additional variants (as defined in the Preset) will pop up.

Not feeling some of the variants? Uncheck the box next to those you want to skip.

Asset Naming: Give It a Personal Touch

Want to customize how your assets are named?

  • Click the text field for the position.

  • Add to or edit the output name.

  • Use property tokens to define your naming convention.

It’s like crafting the perfect label but with fewer sticky notes involved.

Note:

Creative Force will show a warning icon when duplicate naming is detected across assets. However, it is still possible to proceed and save the Style Guide.

Delivery: Send Your Assets Where They Belong

Head to the Delivery tab to decide where each asset should go. The delivery options listed will match what’s set up in the Style Guide’s Workflow.

Take a moment to check you’re sending the right files to the right places.

Now you’re ready to manage your Style Guide V2 like a pro! Dive in, make it your own, and let Style Guide V2 do the heavy lifting.
