To access Style Guide V2 settings, go to Production > Style Guide V2, hover over the selected Style Guide, and click ‘Edit’.
Select the Production Type tab and select ‘Capture’. This is where you define positions (views or angles) for the product based on the production type.
If you haven’t assigned a workflow to the production type, you will see a different view like below. Click on ‘Assign Workflow’ and select the one you need.
Supporting Documents
Add extra notes, and descriptions, or upload files directly from your computer to provide more details about the production type’s style guide.
Here you can upload PDF, TIFF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, PSD and office files such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint documents.
Style Guide Positions
Positions describe the views or angles required for each product.
Note: You can add up to 60 positions per production type.
Position creation
Click the + button at the bottom of the page to add a new position.
Hover over the position to see more action regarding the position:
Drag and reorder it.
Delete it.
Duplicate it (all related settings will be copied)
Position setup
Cover Image: Upload a reference image for your capture team.
Name: Describe the position (e.g., Front, Back, Detail).
Optional or Mandatory: Decide if the position is optional (default is mandatory).
Shot Count: Define how many images are needed:
Range: Set minimum and maximum numbers.
Exact: Specify the exact number.
Unlimited: Allow unlimited images with a minimum number.
Note: The maximum number we allow is 99.
Additional position settings
Click on each icon to enable the setting:
Add/edit position-specific descriptions and upload files.
Set up the conditional rule on the position’s level. Learn more here.
Mark the first image of this position as a Hero which will be used for the task’s thumbnail and can be filtered on the Assets Page.
Enable Photo Review on this position which is available when this step is part of the workflow.
Use the first image in the position as the Color Reference File. Only available when Photo Review is available in the workflow.
Advanced position settings
Click on the settings icon
in each position to view the advanced settings.
You will see the same settings as the above and some other advanced settings:
Position Type: The position can have two types, Normal and Ghost Mannequin. A Normal position type contains no additional logic. Click here to learn more about Ghost Mannequin.
Enforce ‘Alts’: The capture team must provide alternative images for this position. Maximum number is 10 images.
Bypass External Post: Images in this position will not be sent to the external post step.
Properties: Add or edit position properties for easier filtering on the production page. To add position properties click here.
When done, click Save in the top-right corner to keep your updates.
