Reviewing Collection Assets
So, you've sent out the invitations—congrats! Your reviewers will get an email inviting them to check out the assets in the Collection. Let the reviewing begin! 🎉
What Reviewers Can Do
Once inside, reviewers can:
View assets.
Adjust thumbnail sizes (because not everyone loves squinting).
Search for specific assets.
Add comments or markups.
On the left, reviewers will see all the Collections to which they have access. Easy-peasy.
Approving, Rejecting, and Commenting
What can reviewers do? Well, it depends on their access level:
They might be able to approve, reject, or simply comment on assets.

Commenter’s view
Want to leave a comment? Here’s how:
Click an image to open it in the markup screen.
Head to the Comment tab to add comments or draw markings. (Perfect for your inner Picasso!)
Comments are updated in real time, so the Studio team sees them instantly.
Need a better view? Switch to the View tab to go fullscreen.
Decision-maker’s view
There are two ways to make decisions: by individual asset or by the entire Collection.
Decision by Asset
Use Selection Mode to approve or reject all assets, or go one-by-one with the checkmark (approve) or X (reject) icons.
Once done, click Submit to notify the Task Owner.
If images are still pending, you’ll see an alert reminding you to wrap things up.
In Gamma, the Task Owner will see the Collection marked as “Decisions Submitted.” But no worries—they can switch it back to “Review in Progress” if decision edits are needed.
With Decision by Collection
For this method, your choices apply to everything in the Collection. Actions include:
Approve All.
Approve with Changes.
Reject All.
Collaborating with Reviewers in Gamma
Need to track what’s happening? Gamma makes it simple:
See real-time updates on who’s seen, commented, or decided (that’s the S C D trifecta).
Check the Content tab to track task status:
Blank dot = To Do.
Blue dot = In Progress.
Green dot = Done.
Red dot = Rejected.
Detail Task Screen
In Gamma’s Photo Review and Post Review task detail views, you can:
Monitor decision-making and comments in real-time.
Double-click assets to review and leave feedback.
Feedback options include:
Comments.
Markings.
@Mentions, replies, and even reactions (because a thumbs-up goes a long way).
After commenting, a text and pencil icon will appear on the asset thumbnail. Handy, right?
Want to take it further? You can:
Mark tasks for rejection or additional instructions.
Turn comments into official notes.
Rejected or completed assets will be toned down in the Collection and set to read-only mode. Want them gone? Right-click to remove them anytime.
