What is more powerful than seeing the past, the present, and the future all in one place? Creative Force also allows you to check the historical events of an item at multiple levels, allowing a deeper understanding of your studio's work.

Enable Event Log Access at Studio Level

Before Event Logs can be viewed, they must first be enabled at the Studio Level. Only the Account Owner or an Admin of the studio can enable studio-level Event Log access.

To enable Event Log Access, go to Studio Settings, then select 'Security' on the left-side menu. After filling in your password, scroll down to the Event Log Access settings and enable the toggle for 'Event Log Access.'

  • When Event Log Access is enabled, users with the appropriate User Role permissions will be able to view the Event Log.

  • When disabled, no users in the studio will be able to view any Event Logs.

Enable Event Log Access at User Role Level

Once Event Logs have been enabled at the studio-level, individuals will need permissions in order to access them at the user-level. Event log access is automatically enabled for the Account Owner and Administrator; for other roles, you will have to enable it individually.

To grant access to users, head to 'User Roles' under 'Users & Permissions.'

Note:

  • After first enabling Event Log access, you will need to reload any currently open pages in the web app in order to see the feature.

  • As the permission is cached, you might need to wait up to 60 minutes to see the change, or log out of the tool and then back in.

  • The event log will show data starting from October 2022.

Event Log Actions

On the Event Log view, you will be able to perform the following actions:

  • Filter the log by Date & Time, User, Event Name, and Step.

  • Use the free text box to search for the Event Name, User name, or text within the event 'Details.'

  • Export and download the data into a .CSV file.
