GAMMA

Assets (BETA)

Over the last couple of sprints, we have been working on the launch of a new, key component for Creative Force and are very pleased to introduce the first version of Assets today.
We have decided to launch Assets as a BETA version to make its valuable features available as soon as possible, despite recognising it will still have a few 'kinks' and limitations at this stage. We will continue to improve it and add more functionality within the next couple of sprints.

As with everything we release, please feel free to send your impressions and feedback to product@creativeforce.io.

A shortlist of Assets features:

  • Access to all images produced in a dedicated view.

  • Powerful and fast free-text searchย

  • Predefined production and product filtersย

  • Custom filters (private and public)

  • Download assets (single/bulk)

  • Contact sheet generationย

Additional features and functionality

Edit a 'pending' user - A newly invited user can now be completely set up whilst the invite is still pending. We have removed the limitation of an accepted invitation before allowing the user details to be edited.

Analyzing Job indicator - There are times when a user will experience a small delay between a job import and the job alerts (recurring products, missing data etc) being displayed. The delay is due to the need for Creative Force to review the new product data against the wider database. We have added an 'Analyzing Job Data' notification to inform the user when this process is ongoing.

KELVIN

Support resource files for post-productionย

To optimise the quality of the final image, at times several images need to be combined into one in the post-production step. The additional shots used to support the retouching of the final output image are called 'resource files'.ย

With today's release, we support the addition of resource files to an image in the final selection step, in both Gamma and Kelvin.
To add resource files, the user can drop an image to a style guide position, then right-click on the file and select via the contextual menu 'Convert to Resource file'. This will add the image as a resource file to the position.

Additional features and functionality

Show number of files when dragging - The number of images when dragging images on to a style guide position is now indicated.

โ€‹Support position of images in Style guide - Where a style guide position requires multiple views, the order in which the dropped images appear will be reflected in the final file naming

HUE

Unpick a task - The user is now able to unpick a task.

Download and display resource files - Resources files are also supported in HUE. They can be accessed and downloaded via the Photoshop panel.
