Hi there 👋

We have launched some great updates to Creative Force and are happy to share the release notes with you!

Happy reading!

Cheers
Matthias and the product team

GAMMA

Job import issue escalation

We added an additional check to the Job import flow to verify if the imported Job contains:

  • products, that have already been produced in previous jobs

  • products, that failed to be mapped to a Style Guide

  • products, that miss property data which is required for the final asset naming

  • products/outfits that are redundant in the import file

If one or more of the above-mentioned conditions are correct, we show a dedicated warning to support resolving the cases.

Asset download

All assets of a product or a Job can now be downloaded via gamma. When downloading, the user can also decide if he wants to download the assets from all different workflow steps or just a single step e.g. the final images.

Preview overlay

To get a fast overview of the assets of a task, the user can now access a preview overlay in all columns, of all task kanbans. The preview overlay displays:

  • additional product data incl. the used style guide

  • all images of the product in the current workflow step

  • the user who performed the current workflow step

  • a timestamp when the current workflow step was finished

In addition to that, the user can filter the preview overlay to display data of previous and following workflow steps (If existing) and can toggle on and off to display all production types of this product.

Additional features and improvements

  • Job deletion - The Job deletion is not limited to the account owner anymore. Every user with an 'edit' permission on Job level can delete Jobs.

  • Failed asset delivery - If the asset delivery fails, creative force will automatically send email to the account owner with the list of products which could not be delivered and the reason for the failed delivery.

  • Style guide hero position - Every position on a style guide can be defined as a style guide hero position. The style guide hero will be then be used as a cover image for the tasks in the Kanban boards and for the transfer in Kelvin.

  • Bypass external post - When a product is stuck or overdue in the external postproduction step, the user can ad-hoc bypass this step to move on in the workflow.

  • Rename default workflow - The user can now rename the default workflow.

  • Debug information - To help to resolve user or software issues, we added a 'debug info' menu item to the main menu. Hitting 'debug info' is copying the technical user- and account infos to the user's clipboard. This info can then be pasted into the intercom chat to help our support team resolving the issue.

The 'debug info' is also available on Kelvin transfers and all tasks in Gamma and HUE.

KELVIN

Kelvin transfer reaction

To support the transfer flow we added a setting, where the user can decide whether the transfer screen is displayed after a transfer is made or if the users stay on the capture screen.

Additional features and improvements

  • Bugfix -  Transfer in Kelvin shows as failed, but it actually succeeds.

  • Transfer Error handling - If a transfer fails, the user can access the error details by clicking the error icon. Failed transfers can also be restarted or deleted.

HUE

Clean up finished tasks

To optimise the use of local storage,  HUE is now removing all files of the completed task from the local working folder automatically.
