Happy Sprint Release Day! 🚀
We're excited to bring you another round of enhancements built to help your team move faster and work more efficiently. This release introduces Production Type Triggers that chain workflows together, expanded Dreem Connector capabilities with outfit syncing and unified sign-in, as well as more improvements within Editorial and Product Tagging.
We're always eager to hear your thoughts, so don't hesitate to share your feedback.
Production Type Triggers to Support Generative Workflows
We've added Production Type Triggers, giving you a more flexible way to chain production types together. From the new Trigger tab in the Style Guide, you can configure one production type to start automatically when a specific step in another production type completes. Until then, the production type stays in a new Backlog status in the Production tab so upcoming work is always visible, and moves to To Do when it's ready to be started.
This update unlocks more complex, connected workflows — most notably generative AI workflows, where photography needs to flow directly into a downstream AI Production Type. With the new Pass Through Assets setting, selected images from the source production type are cloned over and automatically complete the Capture step on the triggered one, eliminating duplicate uploads. You can also use triggers without passing assets to enforce a shooting order between production types, or push a production type out of Backlog manually with the new Start Without Trigger action.
Dreem Connector: Outfit Building & Bidirectional Sync
Studios can now build and synchronize outfits seamlessly between Creative Force and Dreem. Secondary products chosen in CF will be available within the outfit builder in Dreem. Any changes made to the outfit while in Dreem stay aligned across both platforms through automatic bidirectional sync.
Creative Force Sign-in with Dreem
Creative Force users are now able to use their Creative Force account when signing into Dreem! This makes it easier for teams to manage their log-in credentials across the Creative Force and Dreem platforms.
If a Creative Force user already has a Dreem account linked to the same email address as their Creative Force account, signing into Dreem will bring them to their existing Dreem account. Users who sign in with Creative Force credentials still need to be added to your company’s workspace in Dreem.
Update of Compositing (Collation) Workflow in Editorial
We've streamlined the Compositing (previously called Collation) workflow in Editorial to make main file selection faster and more confident. You can now set the main file directly from the Pre-Selection viewer or grid — no need to leave your selection flow, the choice is applied instantly across the Workflow tab.
Thumbnails in the Workflow tab now open the same full-screen viewer with filmstrip navigation, giving you full-resolution previews that make it easier to choose between near-identical frames, while keeping standard asset actions available in context.
The feature is now labeled "Compositing" throughout the interface, replacing the previous "Collation" wording, and the workflow prompt for a missing main file links straight to the Pre-Selection viewer where the selection happens.
Enhanced Reset for Completed Asset Delivery in Editorial
We've enhanced the reset behavior for completed asset delivery steps in Editorial. You can now review the current delivery option and update it directly within a confirmation dialog before the delivery is re-triggered, helping ensure assets are sent to the right destination the first time.
Delivery now happens only after you confirm the dialog, never on the reset itself. This gives you more control over each re-delivery and avoids unintended sends to a previous destination.
Product Tagging Updates
We’ve updated Product Tagging to improve the accuracy of attributes it identifies. First, we’ve switched from ChatGPT 4o to Claude Sonnet 4.6 which more reliably identifies the correct attributes.
We’ve also updated how the Description field is used to ensure AI uses it to correctly identify attributes when additional instructions are needed, for example:
Color: clarifying that ‘fairy green’ is a yellow-green color
Trend: clarifying that ‘dopamine dressing’ is characterized by vibrant colors and playful prints
