The Photoroom connector in Creative Force is an AI-powered integration that enables instant background removal while maintaining quality. The integration is designed to streamline the image editing process and increase efficiency in content production workflows that require background removal capabilities.

PhotoRoom is an add-on connector that integrates with Workflow V2.

Please contact your CSM for more information.

How to enable the connector

Step 1:

Once the connector is available in your account, head to Studio Settings > Connectors > Photoroom and enable the connector.

Step 2:

Fill in the API key of your Photoroom account and click Save.

How Photoroom Works

Remove Background

Select the Remove Background tab and enable the feature. You can choose if you’d like to add a background color, and if this setting can be adjusted during workflows (Allow Runtime Override). Please note this subfunction returns PNG, JPG, JPEG and WEBP based on the input file type. If the input is a different file type, a JPEG will be returned.

How to work with Photoroom

Step 1:

Add a Cloud Automation step to your Workflow V2 and select Photoroom. Select the subfunction you’d like added to your workflow, and you can also adjust feature settings based on what can be adjusted in workflows (Allow Runtime Override).

Step 2:

Save your workflow and you are ready to run the production!

Testers

You can try the Photoroom subfunction by clicking the ‘Try It’ button. Using the testers is available to all Creative Force customers at no charge, and does not require you to add account details like an API key for use.

To use the tester, users need to be in a role with View or Edit permissions for Connectors.
