Happy Sprint Release Day! We're thrilled to bring you more new enhancements designed to improve your team's productivity.

This release includes image upload improvements in our web app, editing the capture location for images, new file types for importing samples and more.

We're always eager to hear your thoughts, so don't hesitate to share your feedback. 🚀

Improve Image Uploads

Uploading images in our web app just got a lot easier! Once you’ve selected the assets you’d like to upload you can continue working while the upload is processed in the background, rather than waiting on the modal for the upload to complete.

This change is made wherever you can upload assets including but not limited to:

  • Final Selection and Photo Review pages for Ecommerce and Editorial

  • Project and Deliverable pages in Editorial

  • Style Guides in Ecommerce

Once you’ve started the upload, you can monitor progress or cancel the upload by clicking the message center at the top of the page.

Improvements for Importing Samples

We now support .csv, .xlsx and .json file types for importing samples, giving you more flexibility in how you import samples into Creative Force. This update also makes the file options for importing samples consistent with the file options available when importing props.

Edit Capture Location

You can now edit the capture location in our web app after a shoot, which is helpful in cases where the location wasn’t set during the shoot or if the location was specified incorrectly.

Accurate capture location data is helpful to identify on which set images were shot and are specified in Kelvin prior to a shoot. To update the location, simply select "Edit Location" from any of the dropdowns where you can also edit the Team On Set like in the Production list or Product slide-in.

Collection History Added to Review and Selection Tasks

The new Share tab in Review and Selection task detail screens provides an overview of a task's sharing journey.

Now users can:

  • See every Collection a task has been shared with, with timestamps

  • Click the Collection Name to navigate directly to the associated Collection

This enhancement makes it simpler to track collaboration history and maintain visibility of task-collection relationships. For studios with the Collections add-on, you'll find this new tab in your task detail screen, providing instant access to your task's complete sharing timeline.

macOS Support Update

We're updating our macOS requirements! To ensure the best possible experience, our desktop apps (HUE, Kelvin, INK, and Luma) will now support macOS version 13 (Ventura) and newer. This change takes effect from April 22nd and keeps us in line with our support lifecycle policy.
