Happy Sprint Release Day! With Halloween just around the corner, we’ve got a few treats for you in this week’s update. 🎃
This release includes new insights reports, expanded API functionality, and star rating support for web uploads, making it easier to track deliveries, manage samples, and update product Style Guides.
As always, we’d love to hear your feedback—let us know how these updates are working for you!
New Standard Insights Reports
We’re excited to announce the addition of two new standard reports that can be found in Insights.
Our new Style Guide Monitor report provides users with increased visibility on the creation, updates and volume of their Style Guides. The filters enable the user to filter on log date, client, Style Guide name and the user names of those who have made Style Guide-related updates. By default this report is filtered to show activity from the last 30 days.
This report provides insight into:
Number of Style Guides per client.
Total updates and newly added Style Guides by date.
How often updates are applied to work units. Charts include timestamps, users, and detailed logs.
Included tables lists who made changes, when they were made, and the specifics of each update.
Our new Asset Delivery Report offers users detailed visibility into asset-level delivery performance. By default, the report is set to display data from the last 7 days, but this can be adjusted as needed. Please note, loading times may take longer with larger data sets.
This report provides insight into:
Failed deliveries, with a downloadable export of asset names to assist in troubleshooting.
Successful deliveries, with an export option for asset names, useful for invoicing or tracking.
The report can also be scheduled with filters, allowing for automated delivery reporting.
Star Ratings Support for Asset Uploads
Star ratings from Capture One, Lightroom, and other photo tools were previously visible only for assets uploaded through our photography app, Kelvin. Now, the same star ratings are preserved for assets uploaded directly in Gamma, our web application.
Any time assets are uploaded into Creative Force, any star ratings applied outside of Creative Force will automatically appear. This improvement applies to E-Commerce, Editorial, and our Vendor Portal (VPI).
New API for Sample Check-In and Style Guide Assignment
We’ve introduced new API endpoints that make managing sample locations and style guides more flexible than ever. Now, you can update the location of samples, check them in, and manage containers through our public Gateway API. This includes creating, editing, and fetching locations and containers.
Additionally, you can now update the Style Guide associated with a product even after it’s been imported. To support this functionality, a list of Style Guides can now be fetched via an API call.
New API Capabilities:
• Add, edit, and fetch sample locations and containers
• Check-in and update sample and container locations
• Change the Style Guide of a product post-import
• Fetch a list of available Style Guides
Learn more about these updates in our detailed API documentation.
