Make the Most of Your Planning Calendar Using Swimlanes
WHAT:
Users can now group Sessions within the Planning Calendar in order to improve clarity and streamline the management of the studio production schedule.
Swimlanes can be enabled within Planning > Calendar > Display Settings.
Swimlane options include grouping by Production Type, Set Location, Producer, or a Session Property. (note: only list-type properties can be used as Swimlanes)
The order of Swimlanes can be rearranged by dragging and dropping them in the left panel.
Sessions can be dragged across swimlanes to update Set Location, Session Property information, and other details on-the-fly.
Swimlane configurations can be stored as a saved view and shared with others, making them easy to access for various tasks.
WHY:
Grid-style layouts allow for quick identification of empty and filled sets, improving the overall clarity of your production schedule. Users can now tailor their calendars using Swimlanes to match their unique process, resulting in a more personalized and efficient experience.
Session management can be streamlined by utilizing the drag-and-drop nature of the calendar to update Session details, planned shoot dates, and assigned set locations. Since the Planning Calendar updates in real-time, all team members are kept informed of the latest updates to the planned schedule.
