We are updating our authentication certificates for HUE and Kelvin on Mac. Although the update is only for Mac, you will still need to follow the below steps for Windows machines as well.

What this means, is that you and your team will need to update any of your computers that are running Kelvin and/or Hue with the new versions that support the new certificate.

After the 1st of November, we will no longer be supporting the Kelvin and Hue versions with the old certificate.

Below is a walkthrough of the steps that need to take place:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Versions of Kelvin and Hue:

Kelvin

  • 2.x.x (New Creative Force Certificate Versions)

  • 1.xx.x (Old Certificate Versions)

Hue

  • 2.x.x (New Creative Force Certificate Versions)

  • 1.xx.x (Old Certificate Versions)

1. Communicate this update to your IT Department.

If your IT team is controlling allowed applications in your environment (Computer), they need to allow the new versions of Kelvin and Hue using the new Creative Force Certificate.

⚠️ Please note: It’s important to keep the approval of the previous versions using the old certificate to ensure a smooth transition.

The new certificate can be downloaded here:

2. Install new versions

Once your IT team has allowed the new apps you need to first uninstall the old 1.x.x versions and install the new 2.x.x version This is the only way to upgrade.

Download the apps here.
