This article will show you how to set up your Video production type and some new features we have for Cloud Video in Gamma.
Custom production type
Once you have your video extension add-on activated, you can go to your Studio Settings to create your own Video production type.
Note: The production type name can’t be the just ‘Video’ as it will conflict with the production type category ‘Video’. You will need an additional descriptor word such as ‘Model video’ for example.
Video player in Gamma
In Gamma, you will have different places where you can play the video: in the product slide-in and in the asset view. The player will have the same functionalities as the player you have in Kelvin.
Product slide-in → Asset tab
Select a product and click the Asset tab on the slide-in.
Assets page
A duration tag on the thumbnail signifies when an asset is a video. Double click on the video to open the player.

We have made it easier to find the videos by adding a Video media type filter.
