The Lunar New Year is just around the corner, and will be a great time of celebration for some 2 billion people around the world!
For our colleagues based in Vietnam, this festive season brings the Year of the Snake, a powerful symbol of wisdom, adaptability, and transformation.
The Vietnamese Lunar New Year, known locally as Tết, is the celebration of the arrival of spring following the Vietnamese Lunar calendar. It is the most important holiday of the year for the people of Vietnam - think of it as a combination of Christmas and New Year. During Tết, families reunite and reflect on the past year while embracing the promises of the year ahead.
On the first day of Tết, people normally spend time with their immediate family and with their father's side. On the second day, they will visit their mother's side. The third day is the day people go to their teachers. And on the subsequent days, they will visit their friends and extended family... etc.
In any celebration like this, food plays a critical part. People cook many different types of special dishes and the essentials are Bánh Chưng (rice cake), Nem rán (fried spring rolls), Canh Măng (bamboo shoot soup) and Gà luộc (boiled chicken).
What Tết practically means for Creative Force is that between the 27th and the 31st of January, our Development cycle will be a little slower than usual.
Any critical issues will still be reviewed and actioned as needed, with all others being actioned and resolved after the holiday period.
As ever, you will still get the same level of support via chat or by emailing our team at support@creativeforce.io. However, for our customers in the APAC region, you may expect a slight delay in response times between the 27th and the 31st of January.
Wishing you all the very best for the coming Year of the Snake, and as we say in Vietnam Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!
